I am writing this review as a strong recommendation of The Jonville team (Todd Stearmann) and his team that helped me find and buy a great condo in the San Elijo town square area. Todd was great in negotiating a fair deal, staying on top of things, and getting the deal done. He also teamed me up with a local mortgage broker who was great also. Rate was 3.99% fixed for a 30 yr loan. Todd was there cradle to grave for me to answer my stupid questions and ease my worries. BTW, I closed in 30 days from the offer!!! We were very well taken care of during our buying and selling experience. We were surprised at the prompt service in a time when delays seem inevitable. Todd handled every question and followed up with a prompt answer and/or solution. It was great having everything so well connected, we did not have to search for a middleman to fill any gaps.
Due to unexpected circumstances, I became the trustee of a property located an hour from my location. The estate contained a main residence, multiple outbuildings, and even a well. With very little knowledge of the property, I relied heavily upon Jonville agent Todd Stearman. My agent guided me through the daunting process of preparing the property for sale. It needed interior painting, scrap metal / heavy equipment haul-away, and a good clean-out. Todd provided referrals to help with each job. While under contract, the inspection revealed a roof leak (caused by a heavy rain & wind storm the week prior). He was able to keep our escrow on track and mitigate potential issues. I opted to completely replace the roof, utilizing the roofing contractor he recommended. All independent contractors were not only professional, but very accommodating with our tight timeline. Todd priced the listing very competitively and was able to generate ample interest. Listing photos captured the property’s strengths and unique offerings. Joneville’s virtual staging helped buyers see its true potential. There were over 20 showings the first weekend that led to eight viable offers, most over asking price. This is the best real estate team we have ever worked with, and we have been through 9 home purchases and 8 home sales. Todd consistently went above and beyond what was expected from an agent. He knows the San Diego County market extremely well. He knew we were planning on moving again, but he never put any pressure on us as to when to sell. He let us call the shots and just checked in with us every few months to see if we were ready. He is the only agent we have used twice. He was our agent for both the purchase and sale of the SDC property. I cant say enough good things about the Jonville team. My wife and I were expecting a baby in July and weren’t planning on buying a house until the end of October or later. We walked into the Jonville office located in San Elijo this summer and it was so incredibly welcoming. We met with Todd who took his time explaining what goes into buying a house, the areas we should look into and was just so incredibly easy to talk too. After a month of looking at houses my wife and I found a house we loved.
